AREAS OF PRACTICE

Mr. Soto has focused his practice on labor law and has wide-ranging experience on corporate employment law and collective bargaining.

EDUCATION

He graduated from the University of Chile School of Law (LL.B.), and later obtained a Master Degree in Law at Adolfo Ibáñez University (M.B.L.) (2002), and a Master Degree in Law (LL.M.) at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, where he was distinguished with the Excellence Award (2005).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Mr. Soto is a professor of Labor Law at the University of Los Andes School of Law, and was a professor at the Master of Laws program at Adolfo Ibáñez University (2003). He is a board member of the Chilean Society of Labor Law and Social Security, a subsidiary of the corresponding International Society based out of Geneva (connected to ILO), and was member of the Commission for the Labor Law Reform of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Chilean Government (2006). Mr. Soto is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
